Why is Josh Brolin's information about diapers important?

Josh Brolin has just revealed a less glamorous fact: casual incontinence. The actor, 50, aged two, posted a photo of himself on shorts on Instagram last Friday. You guessed it, spray.

Brolin's article may be a bit like TMI for some of us who are more critical, but Gary leach, MD, director of the Tower Urology Institute at Sidarsinai Medical Center, told livestrong.com that incontinence in older men is quite common. In fact, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that more than half of adults over 65 had difficulty controlling their urination.

&Dr. Leach said that as men grew older, their prostates began to enlarge and their bladders became overactive due to blockages caused by enlarged prostates. When a man's bladder is overactive, he may feel obliged to go to the toilet now and may not be able to go to the toilet on time. More importantly, older men sometimes dribble after urination, and if they are impatient to zip up and leave, they may end up wearing underwear and pants. Drugs such as silodosin (trademark rapaflo) can help men control urinary incontinence by relaxing the prostate and bladder. If you feel leaking or often need to go to the toilet, Dr. Leech also advises you to drink less coffee, tea and alcohol because they irritate the bladder.

Brolin may experience some growing pains in his later life, but the 5-0 score is not bad news for him. He has been stifling it in his career, starring in the blockbuster films Avenger: Infinite War and Pool of Death 2.

In addition, his wife, Kathryn Boyd, is pregnant with their first child, plus two adult children from his previous relationship.

Although Brolin's instagram post may be a bit unpleasant, we're glad that he made more than half of the elderly aware of the problem.
